David joined Centuria Bass Sydney in April 2025 as Managing Director, Origination. Prior to this, he was Head of Capital at real estate development and construction group, Bathla. David brings a wealth of experience in mid-market property lending, having held senior positions within the real estate divisions of CBA, St George, and ING, as well as executive roles with boutique private lenders. He has managed loan books of up to $1 billion across various property sectors and is well-regarded for his extensive network among family offices and high-net-worth individuals. At Centuria Bass, he will be responsible for loan origination across the group’s expanding operations and reports to Deputy CEO, David Giffin. David holds a Bachelor of Design and a Master of Property Development, both from the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS).
